Dear troops need love too,

First off let me say thank you very much! I am Airman first class Chase XXXXX and I am currently deployed in XXXXXXXXX, Afghanistan.  Today I received a care package and inside I found a note from a member of your congregation by the name of Melanie, the note and the other treats inside I cant thank you enough for! sometimes it can be very tough here, I personally have a daughter and a wife and when I am deployed every little pick me up we receive is just amazing, it takes your mind off of where you are and just the loneliness here..knowing that what you are doing is appreciated is such a humbling feeling for us! I wanted to personally email you guys and say thank you..what you guys are doing does make a difference to us here and it doesn’t go unnoticed. yet again thank you from all of us in my unit and please continue doing what you guys do! its truly amazing!

Sincerely A1C Chase XXXXXX

Hello, I wanted to thank you for the care package I received. It’s so exciting to receive goodies like that when you’re deployed and away from home . I really appreciate you taking the time to send the package. God bless you.
